Roses!

Hi Everyone!  you know last month here in AZ when you went out side, orange blossoms were everywhere.  such a glorious scent.  clean, fresh, sweet.  We have an naval orange  tree in our background.  Across the street and all around us are many more.  Such sweet perfume.....

Well this month, my rose bushes are going crazy!  I don't have a green thumb.  Everyone in my family seems to have one. but me, no.

Except for my roses.  I swear I do nothing.  Absolutely nothing.  I do not feed them.  I do not trim them.  Once in a while I will buy lady bugs to put out there.  Our garden guy trims them for me.  I don't even trim off the old blooms.  I am a bad garden mama.  sigh......

This is a strange rose bush.  mostly pink roses.  but every so often a red one pops up!  all on the same bush.  that seems so strange to me.  Diesel our cat got out.  He was just quivering with excitement.  Bad cat.  he is not allowed to go outside.

when you go out to my backyard, the fragrance is so sweet.  such a heavy perfume.

hugs......

  1. How very glorious your Roses are with all the fragrant blooms. Our snow seems to have broken several of our delicate growing rose stems. Snow is so beautiful but so damaging! Diesel is being the purrfect curious cat. Blooming Bliss...

  2. I am so very jealous, I love roses and lilacs, but mine didn't survive this wicked winter very well. I am hopeful that their roots will send up some new growth. I'll simply have to be patient (not one of my virtues). Your roses are lovely, enjoy them!
