Another UFO done!

Hey everyone.  I now have #26 UFO done, finished, completed!  My goodness, that does feel good to say that.  

This was a class sample that was partially done, so I could demo on it.  The embroidery pattern is a Alex Anderson pattern.  Sorry I do not remember the name of it.  I do remember it was from a book of hers.  All the patterns in the book had hidden words.  

In the background the words say:

believed 

to be

seen

I love those words.  For me,  it talks of faith.  Faith can get you through lots of things.  Now I have to decide where to hang it.

Sock quilt with Vicki and TB - all the small socks are appliqued, still working on the large socks
Penguin Qlt with Vicki - sewn together with sashing.  1 border sewn.  white border cut and ready to sew. 

 
New projects started: 
 
Postcard cuties for winter:  just finished blocks #8 and 9.  
Transition quilt:  started with Vicki.  all the blocks are done, now to do the sashing! sashing is cut. i have started sewing on the sashings. 
Hexie project with Vicki.  3 done 
Lady bug Twister - everything cut and sewn together.  now I need to cut apart and resew.  
Started a new this and that pattern - Tag Along.  3/4 done.  for a Christmas gift.

UFO. Done!

hey everyone!  I have another UFO finished.  Yeah me! 

 this is #8 of 12.  20 x 27. I used 1 3/8 yards of stash.  nothing was bought.  
i have a few more to quilt.  the tops are all done.  I just love changing out my quilts every month.  

Last night i was watching Dancing with the Stars and Castle.  I made my 2nd hexie.  this picture was taken with smellavison.  can you smell the orange blossoms?  nothing better!  anyway, this one didn't take as long as the first.  no mistakes.  i think I am in love......


this makes 22 finishes so far this year!  That's pretty good.  I want to try for one more finish this month.  Probably another wall hanging.

2 more UFOs! Done!

Hi everyone! 2 small UFOs finished.  I have lots of sewing opportunities this coming week, so I know I will have more UFOs finished in my future!  

First off a Happy Birthday pillowcase.  I wonder who will receive this?  hmmmmm.....  only 7 more pillowcases to make.  

Next is my February small wall hanging.  love these little wall hangings!  

I figure I used about 1 2/3 yards of fabric from my stash.  no buying!  life is good.....
