Trip to Tucson

September is the annual Craft and sewing show down in Tucson.  So off to Tucson Cyndi, Toni and I went.  We hadn't been down there for a couple of years.  This show is much smaller than the Phoenix one.  This one you get in for free AND free parking.  I like!    It seemed bigger and better attended this time too.

We did find a few things.  Don't you think?  see the wood heart thing on top of the seat?

That is a beautiful quilt stand.  Made from 100 year old barn wood.  Just beautiful. Sorry I didn't get a picture of the whole stand.  maybe later......

this is what I bought.  or some of it.

See that bright light?  Remember talking about my new light for my machine? Well, they had another product I fell in love with!  a small light that hangs around your neck.   There isn't a photo of it on their web site.  too bad.  It's very light weight.  so it's very comfortable.  the strap attaches by a magnets on either side.  You can adjust the light to shine where you want it.  it uses 2 AA batteries.  And the price was good.  I also bought a backing for a new BOM I will be starting in November.

All in all, a great little trip with really good company!  Thanks girls and thanks Toni for driving!  ya did good......

hugs.....

  1. Looks like their was great shopping to be had in additon to the free parking. But if parking and admission is free that means you can spend what you would nomrally have paid but on merchandise instead. Now that sounds like a win win situation...
