Redwork Club!

Hi everyone, I am finally posting the Redwork Club Pics! so to have taken soooo long. anyhoo, here they are - on with the show! This is susan's redwork in the garden. I just love it! here is Rita's quilt. she got the pattern from one of the magazines.... so pretty.....

This is a hexagon quilt. margie used a jelly roll and I believe it was from a magazine. Or Moda University.......anyway, I sure do like it!!!

Last month, Marti showed a quilt she did that used a jelly roll and you folded and sewed on a foundation. this is Margie's version - very pretty!

HB to Ronny!

Happy Birthday to Ronny!!! here he is with GF Christine. don't they make a wonderful couple? it was great to spend time with my family. we went to Rustler's Roost. there was dancing, and good food. our service wasn't so great though. oh well..... behind us a company dinner going on. I think they were Swedish or German. they were having a great time. it was fun to watch them dancing to western music. I think they were doing the polka or something! too funny!!! Anyway, happy birthday, bro!

Lexi's adventure

Jen called this evening from urgent care! Their dog - sorry can't remember her name! stepped on Lexi's foot. her toenail managed to get between her toe and split it opened! I talked to Lexi and she was sounding very brave. here she is waiting to get called back to see the doctor.

The two stitches! I understand that Lexi was very brave. Good girl sweetie!!! I think mom and David need to give you special attention and LOTS of Popsicles!

I bet you are going to have lots to talk about at school tomorrow!!

a Special Sunday......

On Sunday, Lee was ordained an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! he had such a support group there! his Stake President was there - who was his Bishop when he was a teenager. This is a picture of one of his buddies Jason Dickson. he is now a Bishop. I wasn't fast enough to get all the pics I wanted. after Lee was ordained, he had the opportunity to give Zoe a blessing. He is sending me pics of her so I can post! she really was very good. Here is a pic of Ashton, then friends of Lee, Lee then Bruce. Lee made his famous BBQ Pork roast, then Ashton made his famous BBQ sauce - YUMMO!!!!! This was such a special weekend for our family. Lee we are sooo proud of you.

awesome weeknd!

here is our grand kids all dress up in their finery. gunner wasn't a happy camper at the moment, but as soon as he went trick or treating and was given candy - well, he got pretty excited about that! here are all the kiddos with their great grandparents! isn't it awesome they have that opportunity?
