I can't believe it's Christmas!  sorry I haven't blogged, just so much going on.  I will get caught up tomorrow.

American Girl Doll Clothes

Hi everyone, Last week was Thornberries.  Barb had show and tell.  Big time!!!  She is making American girl doll clothes for her two granddaughters for Christmas.  Enjoy the show!  BtW,  those shoes she made with foam.  Aren't they the cutest things!!!

Every year we get a bus and go look at lights! I think the kids really enjoy it. we don't go very far, or stay out very long. cuz the kiddos aren't that old. but we have fun!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

good morning everyone! Merry Christmas! I love Christmas. I get so excited. I can't sleep. I try really hard, but I just can't. I feel like the old commercial of Mervyns - open, open, open! Christmas Eve was so quiet and really a restful day. I finished up some things, cooked my pumpkin pies, set up the goodie table. puttered. very nice. but then it started to get late. I finally went to bed at 11:36! still awake.....

I guess I fell asleep and woke up at.....

and again! won't anyone wake up!!!!

OK, got up and....

showered, got pretty, got breakfast into the oven, put things away and blogged. People it is time to get up!!! LOL.... off to knock on doors and open presents! LOL.....

Another UFO

life is good! another UFO completed with the label. Yeah!!! I belong to stashbusters at the shop. 2 years ago we did a swap of bulls eye blocks with Christmas fabric. I saw a similar quilt in webshots a long time ago and fell in love with the setting. so this is my version. Thanks gals for sharing your blocks....... Lorene

Christmas Day!

here is the Bunch later on in the day! Mercy, there is a few of us. We were having a repeat of crazy pics with our little Gunner man, so Daddy held the little guy and we got everyone! thanks Glen! Here is Jackson with his guilt.....

We played CLR for a few games then on to Texas hold em! I watched for a few games of poker then asked to join in. I then won 4 straight games, split the pot once with my dad, then won a couple more! I won almost $6 off of them! the guys were not very happy with me. I bowed out.....

Here is our little Eva with her quilt.....

well, I need to make one more quilt for Alex - next year sweetie! and then one for David and Glen and then EVERYONE will have a quilt! until the next baby is born - whenever that will be. It was sooo nice having everyone over for Christmas. I love my family. Each of you bring so much joy into my life!

Merry Christmas! I know I am a little late in updating, but I am getting there. the last few years we have a tradition of inviting everyone over for for breakfast. this year Cindy suggested we have a white elephant exchange after breakfast. Good idea Cindy! it was fun! here is Zoe playing with some tulle from a basket. Kids always love the wrappings don't they? Ronny won a doll!

Bake Day

I just love getting ideas from my friends. they all help me be a better wife, Mom, and grandmother! Thanks girlfriends!!! Our bake day is evolving for the better I think. this year, no cooking, just bring your treats to swap. I think it really went well. we had two visitors for this year. Gunner and Andrew. daddy was working and Grandpa, well, lets hope he was out shopping for his favorite person! LOL!!! Now you can tell Gunner had a good time. his face is full of chocolate! My Aunt Gloria and Harriet were very smart, they had everything packaged up with the recipe included! Thank you!!!

Now, no one was home to take the picture, unless it was one of us. I don't know how to do the timer thing. Bruce had to show me before he left. Melissa had to put the camera on the tripod. here is picture #1. I couldn't see Melissa well enough so I decided to take another. Then the fun started with the boys! ........
